my projects

  • I really value my family and friends. They mean a lot to me, and I always try to be there for them—unless they wake me up too early. Then, it’s every person for themselves.

What motivates me? My friends, seeing things succeed, and my podcast. Oh, and the thought of becoming super successful so I can say, “Told you so!”

I’d describe myself as amazing, kind, and caring. I love supporting others, and my podcast is something I’m super excited about. Recording with my friends is a blast, and I always try to keep things fun. If making people laugh was a skill, I’d have a black belt by now.

Some things that are really important to me are my health (because staying alive is kind of important), spending time outside (gotta touch grass sometimes), and gaming (because being a pro at pressing buttons is a talent).

  • Right now, I’m working on my podcast, All You Need to Know. Basically, I talk, my co-host talks, and somehow, it turns into something worth listening to. I’m just getting started, figuring out content, and making sure everything doesn’t turn into a complete disaster.

I chose this project because I’ve been trying to start my podcast for a long time, and now I’m finally doing it! (Took me long enough, right?) My goals are to keep posting episodes and get my YouTube and Spotify accounts set up so more people can find it, because what’s the point of making a podcast if my only listeners are my family?

One of the biggest challenges so far has been actually getting everything uploaded and making sure my accounts are ready. Turns out, technology doesn’t always cooperate. Who knew?

  • I’ve learned that I have to trust the process and my partners. (Yes, even when they forget to hit record.) It really helps to have people I can count on.

I was surprised by how easy it was to put everything together. I thought it would be way harder, but somehow, it just worked! Either I’m a genius, or I got really lucky. Let’s go with the first one.

  • My next steps are to start uploading my episodes and get as many people as possible to check them out. I’m still figuring out what my next big goal is, but for now, I just want to keep things moving and not accidentally delete anything important.

I’d love to get better at editing and learn how to promote my podcast so I can grow my audience. I’ll know I’m making progress when I’m posting regularly, more people are listening, and I don’t feel like I’m just talking to myself.

My Projects

  • Hello, my name is Liviyah, and I am excited to share my project with you today.

My project is called Liv N Color, and it focuses on making bracelets. I chose Liv N Color project because I really love bracelets and I used to sell bracelets on the corner of my street and i love that i can upgrade my project. My goal was to have my business done for the most part by Portfolio Day and I did it!

  • I used Elastic string, glass beads, clay beads, and charms. The most difficult part of the project was figuring out all of the prices for my bracelets. The most satisfying part of the project was making all the bracelets.

Throughout this project, I learned that the importance of making bracelets is to take your time and to not rush or your bracelet will fall apart and you will have to restart.

  • Being a part of the LEAF CoLearning Collective has helped me to be more productive about my work, help others, and to be more focused with my work and my business.

  • I will continue to create and sell my jewelry at fairs and markets. I will save the money I make.
